Can I try on a garment before hiring?
In some cases we can accommodate a postal try on for a fee. If you’d like to try on a garment, please email contact@bridalhireau.com. Make sure to include the garment you’re interested in, the date of your event and the approximate date for a try on.

Do I have to be a bride to hire with Bridal Hire Au?
Not at all! While we specialise in bridal events, our collection is suitable for a variety of occasions.
The delivery date is the date you’d like your garment(s) to arrive. It should be 1-2 days before your event.
What if I want to hire a garment(s) for more than 4 days?
Please email contact@bridalhireau.com. In most cases, we can accommodate a longer hire period for an additional fee.
What if my hire doesn't arrive in time?
In the unlikely event that your garment(s) does not arrive on time to wear to your event:
- You will receive a credit note if your booking was made 5 or more full business days before the delivery date and it is returned unworn and in its original condition by the return date. No refund will be granted.
- The hire fee will be forfeited and you will not receive a credit note or refund if your booking was made less than 5 full business days before the delivery date (last minute order).
Am I responsible for cleaning the garment(s)?
Cleaning is included in your hire fee and you agree no attempts will be made to clean, alter, iron or press garment(s).
What if I accidentally damage the garment(s)?
Accidents happen! We offer free damage insurance for minor damage up to the value of $50. If the repair cost exceeds $50, you will be responsible for paying the difference. If we determine (at our sole discretion) that an item(s) is not repairable, you may be charged up to 100% of the retail value listed on our website in addition to the hire fee already paid.
How do I return the hire?
A pre-paid return satchel will be provided with your hire. If your hire was sent in a box, place it back in the box and stick the return label straight over the existing one.
You agree to return the hired item(s) on or before the return date. The return date is specified on your order confirmation as well as the Thank You card.
To avoid late fees, we recommend returning your item(s) at an Australia Post store where it will be scanned over the counter as proof of lodgement. This will ensure you are not held responsible for late fees if the item is lodged on the return date.
Failure to return your hire in accordance with the terms and conditions will incur a late fee.
What if I change my mind and want to hire a different dress?
Please email contact@bridalhireau.com. If the new garment is available and we haven’t posted your original selection, we will organise an exchange.
